Terms of Use.
The ground rules for using this directory. Last updated June 2026.
1. What this site is
aus.directory is an independent, editorial directory of popular Australian websites. By using it you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use the site.
2. Rankings are opinion
Every "top 10" on this site is our editorial opinion about popularity and usefulness, informed by public traffic estimates and brand recognition at the time of review. Rankings are not measurements, not certifications, and not statements that one business is objectively superior to another. Reasonable people would order these lists differently.
3. Comparisons are indicative guides
The comparison tables (cost, accounts, apps, ownership and similar) are compiled in good faith from public information at the time of review and will go out of date. They are general information only — verify details on the relevant site before relying on them. Nothing on this site is financial, legal or professional advice; the banking category in particular is general information, not financial advice.
4. No affiliation or endorsement
All trademarks, brand names and logos referred to on this site belong to their respective owners. aus.directory is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any listed website or its owner. A listing means we believe Australians use and value the site — nothing more. We accept no payment for placement and use no affiliate links.
5. External links
The directory exists to link elsewhere. We don't control external sites, and linking to them is not a guarantee of their content, security, availability or practices. You visit them at your own judgement, on their terms.
6. Corrections & removals
If you operate a listed site and believe a factual detail is wrong — ownership, pricing, description — tell us via the suggestion form and we'll correct it promptly. Site operators may also request removal of their listing; we'll honour reasonable requests.
7. Acceptable use
Don't scrape this site at abusive rates, misrepresent its content as live traffic data, or republish substantial portions without attribution. Brief quotation with a link to aus.directory is welcome.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law, whose statutory guarantees this clause does not exclude), the site is provided "as is" and we aren't liable for loss arising from reliance on rankings, comparisons or linked sites. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to re-supplying the information.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this address with its date above. Continued use after a change is acceptance of it.
